Challenge #17 - The Mail Station

Challenge#17 is The Mail Station.  Our mail station is just the small counter in our kitchen and it always looks HORRIBLE since we just toss the mail on it.  So you know the drill now....before picture:

So I'm playing catch up and decided I would start with the easiest of what I need to catch up on: Challenge #16 - the refrigerator.

Challenge #10 - The Laundry Room

Finally...Challenge #10 is complete.  My laundry room was not a room I wanted to come up in this challenge, but now that I am done, I am very glad it was!  So without any further delay...

Challenge #13 & #15 - Medicine Cabinet

Challenge #13 is the Medicine Cabinet and Challenge #15 is organizing the Medicine.  I had a pretty good idea this would be like the spice cabinet...I would find expired medicine we had not taken in years.

Challenge #12 - The Spice Cabinet

So today I have done Challenge #12.  I STILL have not gotten to challenge 10 the Laundry Room...but I will promise I will try to get it tomorrow.  Challenge #12 is the spice cabinet.  Mine was a mess (which should be no surprise).

Challenge #11 - The Freezer

This one was a quick and easy one for me, so I will be attempting to tackle challenge # 10 The Laundry Room all day today (and once you see my before pictures, you will understand why this is an ALL day thing!  YIKES).

Challenge #8 - The Coat Closet

So yes, I've gone out of order, but that is okay!  I can do that (at least that is what I'm telling myself).  So here we go, Challenge #8 - The Coat Closet.

So this was a good one for me.  My coat closet was in desperate need of rescue.  Now let me start by saying I did not touch the top of the closet.  That is where some of my Christmas decorations live for 10 1/2 months and I just put them away and they are organized in their correct boxes.  With that said.....

Challenge #5 was getting under the kitchen sink.  Oh boy.  Not one I was looking forward to.  It wasn't a HUGE mess, I just hated getting under there.  So here is my before picture.

Challenge #4 The Linen Closet

Today was the linen closet.  YIPPEE!  I had a ton of towels I wanted to dispose of, and now was the time!  And of course, the hallway light blew today, and I don't have a replacement bulb on hand.  I brought in a lamp and got busy (so the pictures look a little dark and grainy). So here is my TINY linen closet before:

 A pretty big mess.  I let my dear son put the toilet paper in the closet last week and I haven't gotten around to straightening it yet.  I also had a ton of old towels at the top and beach towels just stuffed in the bottom.

Challenge #2 - Your computer desk (top only) was not much of a challenge for me.  I usually keep it pretty neat, but once I started, I realized how much JUNK was on it I could throw away.

Day #1 Challenge (Organizing the "junk" drawer)

Yesterday, it was to Organize the "junk" drawer. We all have a drawer we just toss things in. In my case, I toss everything in every drawer. I set out to tackle the actual "junk" drawers. Here is the before...

After taking everything out of the drawers and putting it in another box like was suggested, I re-lined the drawers with some fun polka-dot paper and pulled out my little baskets and got organized!
